Meet Raya! Raya has been passionate about hair since the age of 16 and has been working professionally behind the chair for the past year, specializing in precision haircuts and Brazilian Blowouts. Her creativity extends beyond the salon—she has been modeling for four years and is signed with Ford Models. Her journey into modeling began through an ASU fashion show, where she discovered her love for fashion and self-expression.

Born in Eritrea, East Africa, Raya moved to the United States at six years old and grew up in Tucson, Arizona. She is bilingual and brings her diverse background, creativity, and eye for detail into everything she does.

Her favorite part of doing hair is parting—a detail that may seem simple, but to Raya, it’s the foundation of creating a clean, beautiful style. She also loves enhancing her clients' looks with hair extensions, allowing for versatile and stunning results. Outside of the salon and modeling, she enjoys fitness activities and embracing her creative side.
